OUR MISSION

We have a Gentile and Messianic-Jewish focus. We are calling the Church to be holy, and prepare for the Great Tribulation, for it is at hand.

We will trumpet out warnings of wickedness in the Church, our nation, and the world.  We ask the United States to stand by the nation of Israel and to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.  We stand by our brothers and sisters in the persecuted Church and warn that persecution is rapidly approaching this country. We focus on the cross life and living the life that reflects the life of Yeshua.  We will proclaim the Word of God, calling all mankind to come to the cross and be washed in the blood of Yeshua

A Clear and Present Evil

During the end times the Bible says that wickedness and evil will run rampant. We are experiencing a cataclysmic flood of evil on a shameless society already saturated with corruption and  moral abandonment.  This evil consists of: legalizing gay marriages, allowing homosexuals in the pulpit, increasing sexual immorality, the continued murdering of the unborn, and the blatant bigotry of the radical leftists in promoting society’s view of real Christians as pariahs. We must open our spiritual eyes and see the clear and present evil that is literally covering our nation and the world! It is making its presence felt everywhere and it appears almost ubiquitous.

Evil, evil everywhere,

and more of it we drink,

Evil, evil everywhere,

as our country sinks.

One thing is for certain, and that is there is a lot of uncertainty!  But more certain than that, is that it is crystal   clear that there is a clear and present evil that continues to propagate daily and is ruling and reigning over our society.  This draconian force of evil predominates the present and in doing so it will dominate the future, and has made its presence felt throughout the eons of time. What is the etiology of evil and where will this iniquitous ideology take us?

The etiology or the cause of this evil disease is satan; he begat it! We have become so familiar with it that we have prostituted ourselves with it, but not just with the evil, but with its father also, satan himself!

We have indiscriminately flaunted and embraced all types of sins, from the peccadillos, the so-called little sins, to the flagrant and blatant abominations.

Where will this clear and present evil take us? To hell itself, but not before we are dismantled as a nation and unrecognized as a society.

While there are those who are not only content but compelled to sit on the bench of neutrality, others are ready to do battle at any and all cost.  Be assured that the battle lines are   being clearly defined and the gap between the good and evil is widening.

So what is our response? What is the Christian, the followers of Yeshua, to do in response to this onslaught of evil?

Many respond with fear.  They are fearfully asking, what is happening to our nation?

The National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH) estimates that over 24 million individuals suffer from anxiety disorders. Many walk with fear as their constant companion.

A mode of fearful living is conducive to a paralysis of the will, and thus as fear grows so does the paralysis and soon we are paralyzed with fear. The elimination of fear must be sought with absolute vigor, but the methods may be more damaging than the fear itself!

Throughout the Bible we are told to fear not, or not be afraid, but many are.

There is a thin line between fear and concern and while that line may be thin it is most important. Many can be shackled with fear and are indeed paralyzed by it, others are concerned or better stated, walk in discernment, and therefore many of them live in victory.

But fear can have a positive realm, it can connote that something is wrong and in the case of this nation and the world something is dreadfully wrong.

Many in the church are neither fearful nor concerned; they are basically deaf and blind when it comes to the horrific  events that not only await them, but are taking place directly in front of them. Many believers and non-believers alike, are so caught up in the mundane, in the “rat race”, they are not  aware that they are the rats! They’re the rats   caught in the trap, still nibbling at the cheese and are already dead and do not even know it!

This is a message of correction, not to the world per se, but to those in the church. I believe this a God ordered message. Some may say that I am trying to flaunt my own religiosity and bigotry while slashing gaping wounds in the brothers and sisters in the church with my self-righteous sword!

Nothing could be further from the truth; my heart breaks as to where the main lined church is, and where she is headed and on this I can say with Jeremiah:

Oh, my anguish, my anguish! I writhe in pain. Oh, the agony of my heart! My heart pounds within me, I cannot keep silent. For I have heard the sound of the trumpet; I have heard the battle cry. Jeremiah 4:19

Our ministry is entitled “A Trumpet in the Wilderness”  and not “The Trumpet in the Wilderness”,  for many are trumpeting out a sound of alarm and correction to awaken a church that is basically comatose, but the key is to trumpet a clear sound,  one that will awaken all that are willing to hear. The call must be a clear sound of alarm!

For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle?

1 Corinthians 14:8

The November election in my opinion will determine just how much longer this nation has as a nation.  I think it is quite possible that if Obama is behind in the polls that some kind of crisis will be invented and suspend the November elections, and Obama will be there to rule and reign over more and more evil! This upcoming election is paramount and it’s our responsibility to vote for the one who espouses the strongest Christian values.

But mark my words: No man or woman from any party can turn this nation around! It will take a revival like that in Nineveh, when the Ninevites repented of their evil ways; it will take a revival like the “Great Awakening” of the 1730s and 1740s, and I do not see that on any radar screen!

The doors of the church have been held open and the welcome mat placed down for same sex marriages and for the murder of 55.5 million babies during the past 39 years since the despicable and shameless ruling of Roe v Wade in 1973. Perhaps  the church’s most grievous sin is not only the embracing of these atrocities, but her indifference to them. The main line church must correct its political correctness and repent! The time is now!

The main line church has been nibbling at the cheese far too long and many will be caught off guard, oblivious as to what is about to happen in the very near future.

While many churches have perfected their entertainment they have marred and eviscerated the mandate of holiness and righteous   living. Where are the sermons on repentance, holiness, and righteousness living? They are in the archives in the churches’ basements!

We are going to experience mayhem, yet we are content to continue to stay on our  destructive course!

Unspeakable persecution is coming to those who profess belief in Yeshua! As you read this short article persecution is occurring now! Many estimate the number of Christians killed for their faith each year as somewhere around 176,000, but these may be conservative statistical guesses, we do not know how many actually are murdered for their faith.   I believe along with many reputable ministries that the statistics are much higher.

Most martyrs suffer and die anonymously, unknown, forgotten, their deaths unrecorded. These brothers and sisters experience persecution daily and draw no attention from the main line news media or the average church goer in the United States. Most will die alone, naked, and penniless but surrounded by His angels, wealthy in His glory, and clothed with His righteousness.

We have no idea how many suffer and die for their faith and if we did, I ask how many would care? If not dying, thousands are burned, imprisoned, beaten, and harassed for their faith in 48 different countries.  If we forget to pray for these saints then our sin is almost as great as the ones committing these atrocities,   and we have failed as a church, and as a church, we must fall on faces and repent!

How many churches have “Super Bowl Sunday” or whatever the legal word is for that day? While millions of church-goers watch “The Game” and cheer their team every time they make a touch down, many have scored another kind of touch-down by giving up his or her life for their faith in Yeshua. In the time the Super Bowl game is played, commercials and all, many will die and be persecuted for their faith. I also would like to bring to your attention that every 22 seconds that you and fellow church goers are watching “The Game” another American baby dies in the American Holocaust via abortion!

But will persecution happen here? I left the ministry in 1977 and for years wandered aimlessly    in and out of fellowship. Some very low points in my life were sin driven, but the road to fellowship was traveled and victory was achieved. On that up and down journey I became freed from the chains of denominationalism. I was then disimprisoned to freely seek and form beliefs without fear of criticism from the brethren.

Through seeking the Lord, I   made some strategic changes in some core and fundamental beliefs in several areas.

I will briefly comment on one of them, and perhaps it’s the most accepted and the most dangerous.

It is the “pretrib” rapture theory and it is deceiving many. Those who believe in this teaching will be traumatized by what awaits them – this is why this teaching is so deadly; it gives the individual a false sense of security.  It’s deadly because it’s deceiving and that deception could lead to an eternal separation from God. Yet, it is popular because it basically teaches that no harm will come to us as a church.

The “Left Behind” books by Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jenkins are indeed entertaining and they are certainly  money makers – but are deadly and deceptive. I doubt Yeshua was that entertaining, and doubt he was a money-maker, but He always spoke the truth!

I preached pre-trib theory from the pulpit and I hear it in almost every teaching on Eschatology.  One of the “pre-tribers” favorite passages is as follows.

“For God hath not appointed us to wrath,…."

1 Thessalonians 5:9

And He has not!

Here it is in simple laymen’s terms. I can do this in exactly twenty-two words – count them.

[The great tribulation is satan’s persecution of the saints, and the Day of the Lord is God’s divine judgment on the ungodly.]

The real believers in Yeshua will not experience the wrath of God. We are not appointed to God’s wrath if we have abided in Yeshua. The Day of the Lord will occur after the tribulation. Just prior to the Day of the Lord, if we have stayed faithful, we are then be raptured out.
But until that time we will suffer for 3½ years in the great tribulation.
The Great Tribulation will NOT be the same event as the Wrath of God. Tribulation comes from Satan's war against God's people. Our enemy, the devil is the mortal enemy of both Israel and the Church. The Great Tribulation will be 3½ years of satanic persecution against the Jews and Christians who are alive at that time.

The earth is utterly broken down, the earth is clean dissolved, the earth is moved exceedingly. The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again. Isaiah 24: 19-20

This earth is going to go through some very strategic changes – will we be ready?

Yeshua (Jesus) warned both Israel and the Church to prepare for the Great Tribulation.

For those of us who do believe in a post-trib rapture or perhaps better stated a pre-wrath rapture should never break fellowship or distance ourselves from those that believe in a pre-trib rapture,  for  when the real time of testing comes they will need us. While we may not agree and they may distance themselves from us we must continue to pray and sound the trumpet as clearly as possible.

Many in the church will either fall away as they stand in the shadows and scream, or they will join ranks with the enemy and attempt to devour those they once claimed to be with.

Now is the time to see whose side you are on! Indeed a line has been drawn. We either love the Lord more than our sin or we love our sin more than we love the Lord. We must decide and decide now!

We had better get on the vanguard and speak out against evil at ALL cost. It was Dietrich Bonheoffer who said” The one who believes does not flee.”

There are many including pastors who are caught up in the entrapping of church traditions and monotony. They are in a quagmire of tedium and indifference. Others are caught up in a hyper-faith fiasco where emotions are their guide.  These and others are in their own pseudo-spiritual world of make believe.  The most important thing we can do, even before we get our eschatology correct, is to repent and recapture the meaning of holiness and righteous living.  The levity must cease, we must not falter! Maybe it’s time to overturn some tables and to learn the true meaning of being salt and light to a world that is headed for destruction.

This author does not capitalize “satan”.

Now may the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob bless you through His Son Yeshua.

In His Service,

Jack Hunter
