There is a peace conference being talked about that is to take place in Annapolis Md. in late November. Although this is not front-line news at this time it may make front page in a few weeks. There have been recent peace treaties signed that Bible prophecy teachers, "prophets", and others have declared: This is the one!! But only to find out they weren't. Will the Annapolis conference be the peace conference that will lead to the peace treaty that is prophesied? Probably not. Yet, it's worth reporting and it merits discussion. If it were to be successful it would be another slash into the throat of Israel. I await the outcome with great interest.
What is it that Israel wants? The right to exist. That's all - they have already given up God-given land - all they're asking for is for the Palestinians to stop terrorism so that they can simply exist. But what is the Bush administration and the Palestinians demanding? Much! Did you notice I said: The Bush administration? I will explain that later.
This is what Bush and the Palestinians are demanding
1.To have 100% control over East Jerusalem, the Old City including the Temple Mount and also control over the Western Wall.
2. They are demanding the return of all Palestinian refugees to live in the State of Israel.
3. In addition they are demanding that Israel return to her pre-1967 borders (prior to the six-day war) and hand - over all the land of Judea and Samaria ( the West Bank )and Gaza to the Palestinians for their homeland.
Netanyahu claims that Israel is placing all its cards on the table, a move that will enable the Palestinians to even put more pressure on Israel to make more concessions. he said "olmert will place Hamas men on the wall of Jerusalem. Jerusalem will fast become a pilgrimage site for terrorist from all over the world."
But why Jerusalem? Why? The Koran doesn't actually mention Jerusalem, i.e., as being foremost or significant. Yet, the connection between the Jewish People and the City of Jerusalem is one of the most well documented facts in world history. In Jewish traditional sources, the word “Jerusalem” is mentioned over 600 times, at least 140 times in the New Testament, but never in the Koran. There is a reference in the Koran (17:7) to the destruction of the First and Second Temples, which were located in Jerusalem. There is also a reference in the Koran (34:13) to King David and his son, King Solomon who built the first temple in Jerusalem. But it's worth noting that the Koran, which is about 1,400 years old, does not, I repeat does not explicitly mention the word “Jerusalem.” it is also worth noting that the Koran is a little over 1,400 years old but Jerusalem existed about 2,000 years prior to the Koran and the birth of Islam. In addition to enduring endless skirmishes and frequent terrorism since its founding, Israel has recently fought at least four major wars: 1948, 1956, 1967 and 1973. Again and again, the surrounding Arab nations have periodically threatened—and attempted—to drive it into the Mediterranean Sea. Why Jerusalem? Because God choose it!
"The LORD said to Satan, the LORD rebuke you, Satan! Indeed, the LORD who has chosen Jerusalem rebuke you! Is this not a brand plucked from the fire?" Zechariah 3:2
But back to the "peace conference" scheduled to take place sometime in November in Annapolis, Md. Bush is sending Condoleezza Rice to twist the arms of the Israelis. I am saddened, no angry, to find out the pressure the Bush administration is putting on Israel to agree to the Palestinians demands. According to WorldNetDaily Rice has already traveled to the Middle East to help close this deal before it's on the table. She reportedly told Palestinian negotiators that she would publicly blame Israel for the future of next months summit if the Jewish state didn't agree to evacuate East Jerusalem neighborhoods. What's the matter with you Condoleezza Rice? This is God-given land! I go around scratching my head, asking: What is the point of the conference when Bush is negotiating now for a done deal? What deal? Just another slit into the throats of Israel. So who's fault is it if the upcoming conference is not a success? Israel's of course. Like everything else - blame the Jews!! Shame on you Condoleezza Rice and shame on you president Bush - Yes shame on you! Are either one of you aware of the prophesies of God made 2000 years ago. Mr. Bush maybe through the influence of your daddy's man, James Baker, and some liberal theological teaching "replacement theology" you are simply deceived or maybe you're just as evil as one of your Jew hating forerunners Jimmy Carter. Whatever the case, in the name of Yeshua - may your eyes and heart be opened. "Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem. And it shall happen in that day that I will make Jerusalem a very heavy stone for all peoples; all who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces, though all nations of the earth are gathered against it" (Zechariah 12:2-3).
Don't get cut to pieces Mr. Bush for your decisions not only effect you but our country. I urge you to "pray for the peace of Jerusalem."
Islam Is Right??? (10-30-07) The following is a continuation of my upcoming article entitled: Islam is Right??? This article will be posted on the web in about five or six days. (10-30-07)
My upcoming article will prove: Muslims are in many ways more moral than we are in the West and I include those who say they are Christian. While we are inventing new ways to ban prayers, in Islamic countries, prayer is a way of life.
Muslims observe five formal prayers each day. The timings of these prayers are spaced fairly evenly throughout the day, so that one is constantly reminded of their god and given opportunities to seek his guidance and forgiveness
Fajr (pre-dawn): This prayer starts off the day with remembering their god; we do it at sunrise. Dhuhr (noon): After the day's work has begun, we break shortly to remember god and seek his guidance.
'Asr (afternoon): This is done later in the day. Maghrib (sunset): Just after the sun goes down, Muslims remember god again as the day begins to come to a close.
'Isha (evening): Before retiring for the night, we again take time to remember god's presence, guidance, mercy, and forgiveness.
It seems they unashamedly pray because they believe it's important and it's a command in the Koran, plus they have government support, unlike Christians in this country. As you read my upcoming articles you will find that if the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in California has any influence, the prayers of Islam will be in every school district, while Christian discrimination and hatred will only worsen.
When I listen to the news, even so-called conservative talk show hosts, like Sean Hannity and Rush Limbaugh, echo the rhetoric of George Bush, that Islam has been hijacked by a few radical fundamentalists - Islam is a religion of peace they say, but their Holy Koran or Qur'an seems to say au contraire.
More from the Qur'an:
Infidels are those who declare: "God is the Christ, the son of Mary." (Sura 5:17)
Infidels are your sworn enemies. (Sura 4:101)
Make war with the infidels who dwell around you. (Sura 9:123)
When you meet an infidel in the battlefield strike off their heads. (Sura 47:4)
Mohammed is Allah's apostle. Those who follow his are ruthless to the infidels. (Sura 28:2)
Prophet, make war with the infidels. (Sura 5:51)
Believers, take neither the Jews or the Christian for your friends. (Sura 5:5)
Kill the disbelievers wherever you find them. Sura 2:191
To Muslims world wide I address you: Just as you wish to make Muslims out of Christians we real Christians wish to make Christians out of you - but not at the blade of a sword but by laying down our own life if necessary. You see my Islam friend by the Spirit of the true Messiah Yeshua, I can have love for you and all I write is to do nothing but bring you to the cross so that you can be guaranteed salvation, through no act of your own, be it malevolent or even benevolent, but by the finished work of Yeshua. May you find Him is my prayer!!! I do not wish to scream at those in the darkness, but to shine light so they might see.
